What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Lead and Inspire: Direct a team dedicated to providing exceptional payroll services. Your leadership will ensure our business needs are met with precision and efficiency.
  • Manage Complex Projects: Take charge of high-profile projects, showcasing your ability to handle complexity with ease and deliver results that make a difference.
  • Enhance Systems and Processes: Utilise your expert knowledge of HR/Payroll systems, particularly Zellis’s ResourceLink, to optimise our operations.
  • Strategic Analysis: Leverage your advanced IT and analytical skills to extract, report, and analyse payroll data, providing critical insights to senior management.
  • Ensure Compliance: Stay abreast of best practices and legislative requirements in payroll, ensuring our processes are both compliant and efficient.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Essential:
    • CIPP Payroll Management qualification or equivalent experience, or actively working towards this.
    • Proven success in leading teams to deliver top-notch payroll services.
    • Strong experience in pensions administration, preferably in a managerial role.
    • Excellent IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience in the Higher Education or NHS sectors, or similar public sector environments.
    • Expert user knowledge of Zellis.
