Payroll Supervisor - Accountancy - London - £40,000

Wise May are looking for a Payroll Supervisor to join a very busy Accountancy business in the London.

Processing and administration of payroll for clients within the company ensuring a professional service is provided to clients at all times.

Payroll experience is of a great advantage for this role to hit the ground running in this friendly and supportive team of 7.

Duties:

- Process client payrolls accurately and in a timely fashion, in accordance with payroll procedures and using the software designated by the firm.

- Prepare monthly payslips for client employees and directors and submit these in accordance with the requirements of the clients.

- Assist the Client Payroll Manager to make such arrangements for the payment of client payroll wages, salaries and statutory payments as are required by agreement and statute, in a timely fashion.

- Prepare Year End returns for clients, including P60s and P11Ds, ensuring that all the correct forms are completed and submitted by the appropriate deadlines.

- Take ownership of a portfolio of clients with an expectation to meet with the client as and when required, including attending meetings at clients’ premises, and regular discussions via conference calls

Skills and experience required:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Good customer service skills and excellent telephone manner

- Experience of Payroll Software

- Understanding offshore tax is an advantage
