Our client is seeking a highly skilled People Systems Manager to lead the development, integration, and maintenance of their People & OD Department’s HR and payroll system. Based in Inner London, this hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can optimise systems, improve user experience, and support key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of HR and payroll systems, ensuring they are effective, user-friendly, and aligned with business needs.
- Act as the primary contact for system-related projects, driving improvements and system optimisation.
- Work closely with IT and service providers to manage contracts, performance levels, and system enhancements.
- Provide expert advice on HR systems to improve processes and maximise efficiency.
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop functional system solutions that align with business goals.
- Deliver training, guidance, and communications on system use and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with data protection legislation and maintain data integrity.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Essential: Advanced knowledge of HR and payroll systems, particularly iTrent.
- Expertise in data protection and employee data management.
- Generalist HR knowledge, including recruitment, reward, and payroll legislation.
- Strong technical skills in HR software, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
- Ability to plan, manage projects and lead system improvements.
- Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to EDI principles.
Desirable:
- Project management training or CIPD qualification.
- Experience managing HR and payroll systems in a large, complex organisation.
