People Systems Manager - 5 months - Full Time - Hybrid - Immediate start - Central London

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector and Not-for-Profit is proud to be working with a trade union with a membership of over half a million nurses, midwives, nursing support workers and students, to appoint a People Systems Manager for a 5 month opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

What the People Systems Manager will be doing:-

  • Take ownership of People & OD departmental systems
  • Lead on the documentation of POD Department processes and the management of departmental data
  • Coordinate and, where appropriate, provide user training and guidance for all system users.
  • Lead on the documentation of POD Department processes and the management of departmental data, maintaining the data asset register and delivering
  • Recommend a strategic vision for system and process optimisation, using advanced level knowledge and expertise to support subsequent operational planning processes

What the People Systems Manager will bring to the team:-

  • Advanced technical knowledge of HR and payroll systems, in particular iTrent
  • A working knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to be factually accurate, clear and precise, adopting plain language and adapting to different audiences
  • A working knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Experience of working in a complex organisation
  • Experience of working in the public/charity sector
