Working within a passionate and innovative team, our client is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping a culture of inclusivity and oversee the Employee Relations Centre of Excellence. This is a unique opportunity to lead complex employee relations matters while supporting a dedicated team of business partners and advisors and contributing to impactful projects that shape the future of employee relations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide expert guidance to senior stakeholders on employee relations and employment law issues.
  • Develop and implement employee relations policies that comply with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Upskill the HR business partners and HR advisors on employee relations matters.
  • Lead and support complex investigations, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Advise on high-risk cases and mitigate potential legal risks related to ER matters.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • CIPD Level 7 Qualification and a Law Degree would be highly desirable.
  • Post qualification experience in UK employment law, ideally in an in-house Employee Relations role.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex and ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build robust relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of European employment law would also be desirable.
