Your New Business

You will be working for an ambitious, high growth business within employee benefits and pensions administration services. They pride themselves on their agility, operating in a market with huge potential for growth in both the UK and US. The business has over 1000 clients and is expanding, with heavy investment in their people, systems and processes. They have impressive London offices, as well as locations across the South of the UK, and abroad.

Your New Role

You will be joining the business as a UK payroll leader, driving transformation across the function and managing a team across multiple offices. You will review processes, innovate new ways to improve service delivery to clients and increase efficiency.

Key areas of focus will include:

  • Spearheading the transformation of the business' payroll services
  • Leading a large team of payroll professionals across the UK and offshore.
  • Partnering with investors, clients, and board members to align payroll operations with ambitious business goals.
  • Innovating new payroll strategies and driving technological advancements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring world-class service delivery

You will bring

  • Proven expertise in senior payroll leadership, from a third-party service perspective, ideally in financial services, insurance, or banking.
  • A strong record of people leadership, to drive high performance in teams both on and offshore.
  • A track record of successfully leading payroll transformations and optimising processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK payroll regulations, pension schemes, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A bold, strategic mindset with the agility to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
