Benefits Specialist Location: UK (Remote)Length: 12 monthsRate: From £45.00 p/h (Inside IR35)Hours: 40 hours per weekOverview:Our Client is looking for an experienced and strategic HR professional to lead on a specific project enhancing the operation of our leaves programs outside of North America. This project will build new digital surfaces to support the operation and employee experience of Our Client’s leaves and statutory obligations. This role will work in partnership with HR Tech teams, Operations, Payroll, Legal and other members of our benefits strategy team to navigate the build needs based on Our Client's policies and practices. The role is suitable for those used to working at high pace in multinational teams and across a broad range of Countries.Key Responsibilities:
  • Key advisor to project on leave policy ensuring that the build of new tools and processes are fully aligned to Our Client’s policies and all applicable legislation
  • Advise on overall project strategy but also details of each individual leave throughout all stages of the build
  • Proactively reviewing current policies to ensure accuracy & completeness, compliance, and operational efficiency for both the business & employees. Partnering with members of the global benefits team to ensure all policy changes support global/international alignment across our leave programmes
  • Partnering with Operations and Legal to address any gaps between policy & process, ensure any process redesign & documentation aligns with policy
  • Key stakeholder for all comms relating to the project and to partner with other teams to define the scope of work for future phases of the project
Day to day activities:
  • Working across 22 countries in EMEA and may be helping APAC and LATAM
  • Working on a specific project to help the people ops team
  • Making sure the functionalities are built correctly by their tech teams and that they are compliant and tat the policy operates in the way it’s intended to
  • Leasing with legal to make sure any changes they need to make are legally appropriate
  • Workshops , checking and reviewing that Our Client’s policy intent is delivered through this surface
Essential Experience Required:
  • At least 12 years of HR experience in total with at least 5 years of experience in benefits and or leaves strategy and management
  • Deep expertise in designing and implementing leaves policies
  • Significant experience of working across multiple countries in Europe. Additional experience working across other regions (Asia, Latin America) would be an advantage
  • Experience of working on tech builds for leaves
  • Proven ability to work at a fast pace and with ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills
