Your new companyJoining an ER team in the financial services sector, working within a well-established FTSE250 company which offers financial support and advice to small businesses in theUK.Your new roleLeading on employee relations for the front office and supporting functions populations, reporting into Head of Employee Relations (international). You'll be responsible for 1st line queries and supporting investigations. This is an excellent role to develop on your employment law exposure.

  • Advising managers in relation to policy, HR best practice and legislation including cases involving complex employment law
  • Responding to employee queries and concerns
  • Supporting senior management team in the preparation and management of documentation relating tocases
  • Ensuring HR correspondence is completed in line with policy and regulation
  • Establish and maintainstrong relationships as the main point of contact for ER issues
  • Conduct and resolve complex investigations of employee complaints in a consistent, empathetic, andlegally sound manner
  • Deliver on organisational restructures - including redundancies, TUPE &, M&A
  • Investigate conduct issues and drive processes to ensure the values and standards of the company are upheld

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proficiency in shadowing/conducting investigations end-to-end
  • Understand relationships between ER matters and commercial operations
  • Most recent experience working within a financial services or insurance firm, with either SMCR or FCA regulations
  • CIPD qualification Level 5+
  • Mental health first aid qualification desirable
  • Minimum of 5 years HR/ER experience
  • Maturity, discretion and good judgement in managing complex decisions and handling sensitive information
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills
