Position:HR Advisor- Employee Relations

Location: (London or Manchester based) remote working with attendance in office as required for meetings.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30.

The Role:

The successful candidate will have experience in managing a diverse caseload in various  areas of employee relations.  This is a busy role and requires attention to detail whilst meeting KPIs and adhering to policy and legislation requirements.  The ability to coach managers on policy and procedure will be a key attribute.

The Responsibilities:

  • Ability to manage a diverse range of employee relations cases, including: disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence management, probation, occupational health and wellbeing
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and writing (drafting) skills
  • Ability to drive cases to  successful conclusion and within timelines
  • Ability to commercially apply external legal support
  • Ability to drive improvement and ensure quality customer service to internal stakeholders

The Person:

  • Part qualified – Level 5 CIPD (or equivalent) and have an excellent knowledge of UK employment law
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst delivering quality results
  • Ability to work as part of a team whilst independently managing cases
  • Great sense of humour, engagement and willing to knowledge share
