A superb opportunity has arisen for a part or fully CIPD qualified candidate to join this hugely successful law firm located in stunning offices in the heart of the city.

This is a generalist HR role which encompasses all aspects of HR from employee relations and recruitment, through to learning and development and payroll duties.

You will be working within a friendly HR team of 5 and will be reporting directly into the HR Manager.

Duties as follows:

  • To work closely with Heads of Departments and Secretary Coordinators to support them in the successful delivery of their respective services
  • To be actively involved in all aspects of employee relations including performance management issues and absence monitoring
  • To work with the Recruitment Coordinator in producing comprehensive job specifications and to conduct interviews where required..
  • To work closely with Partners and Managers to ensure adequate learning and development opportunities are available.
  • To manage monthly and annual payroll processes and deal with any issues as and when they arise.
  • To be responsible for the administrative aspects of the Firm's pension scheme.
  • To deal professionally with HR matters, ensuring confidentiality is adhered to at all times.
  • To work with the HR Manager and Head of HR to calculate bonus payments.
  • To work with the Firm's EDI Partner to assist in introducing EDI initiatives throughout the Firm.

This is an ideal role for someone with a minimum of 3 years generalist HR experience, ideally within the legal sector or professional services, to join a successful HR team in the implementation of HR initiatives which benefit the Firm as a whole.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are a must, as well as a friendly disposition and a sound work ethic.
