  • Work autonomously to manage disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Provide coaching to line managers during cases of performance issues
  • Keep HR policies up to date, suggesting changes where necessary
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes including maternity/paternity leave, flexible working requests and secondments
  • Acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders
  • Building relationships with partners and conducting regular meetings to identify areas of support
  • Supporting on annual processes such as salary reviews
  • Working with the wider HR team on projects
  • Maintaining the org chart
What is the company looking for?
  • 4 years’ experience in a HR role, ideally within legal or professional services
  • Good knowledge of employment law, and experience advising managers on Employment Law and HR best practice
  • CIPD qualification desirable
  • Strong organisational skills, communication skills and confident liaising with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A collaborative and proactive approach with strong client service skills
  • Sound understanding of GDPR
