- Work autonomously to manage disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Provide coaching to line managers during cases of performance issues
- Keep HR policies up to date, suggesting changes where necessary
- Manage employee lifecycle processes including maternity/paternity leave, flexible working requests and secondments
- Acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders
- Building relationships with partners and conducting regular meetings to identify areas of support
- Supporting on annual processes such as salary reviews
- Working with the wider HR team on projects
- Maintaining the org chart
- 4 years’ experience in a HR role, ideally within legal or professional services
- Good knowledge of employment law, and experience advising managers on Employment Law and HR best practice
- CIPD qualification desirable
- Strong organisational skills, communication skills and confident liaising with a wide range of stakeholders
- A collaborative and proactive approach with strong client service skills
- Sound understanding of GDPR
