Reed HR are working with a Transport company based in Central London to recruit a HR and OD Analyst on a full time, Fixed Term Contract basis for 12-months. Salary circa £45,000 per annum. This job will operate on the hybrid working model, with some days based in the office and the rest from home each week. Travel to other offices will be infrequent but required as and when necessary. 

The main responsibilities of this job will be to coordinate HR and OD research, analysis, and support the wider team, focusing on staff engagement and the development of the overall business structure and staffing plans including job benchmarking, organising workshops, talent development, succession planning and more. 

Some of the roles and responsibilities of this job are as follows: 

•    Gather, interpret, analyse, and present HR/OD data in a concise and comprehensive manner.•    Undertake research and analysis to support the development of new strategies and action plans, incorporating best practices in HR/OD strategy and delivery.•    Support the review of organisational roles for the business structure, responding to feedback, and liaising with the legal team and stakeholders as required.•    Maintain up-to-date information on developments in HR practices, terms and conditions, new roles, pay practices, and engagement activities.•    Build, organise, and maintain a library of HR/OD documentation including role profiles, job families, terms and conditions, and HR policies.•    Drive continuous improvement and innovation in HR practices and information management.•    Provide support and documentation on sensitive issues affecting various teams within the business.

This is a professional and demanding HR and Organisational Development role, and to be successful it is ideal that you have the following skills and experience: 

•    Broad knowledge across HR and organisation design.•    Experience in HR/OD policy and practices in an operational environment is desirable.•    Planning and forward-thinking approach with attention to detail.•    Ability to work to tight deadlines and produce high-quality documents.•    Experience across transport or related sectors such as logistics, aviation, hospitality, or service-related fields.•    Excellent research and analytical skills.•    Strong stakeholder management skills at various levels.•    Proficiency with technology and MS Office, particularly PowerPoint presentations•    Innovative problem-solving skills •    CIPD level 5 or working towards
