Human Resources Officer required by an International Company for a fixed term contract of a year paying upto 40k, it is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 office based days. This role is part of the UK Human Resources Department of 2 responsible for all UK Personnel and associated freelancers and contractors.

This is not an internal Recruiter position, recruitment for UK roles is carried out by the Conglomerate Head Office based outside of Europe and the line managers in the UK, the only relation to recruitment the Human Resources department have is to ensure that all hiring is within UK legislation, such as Contractor correct determination whether they are inside or outside of IR35 and right to work details are maintained.

They employ 100 staff in the UK and have a further 100 freelancers hence the need to really understand UK Employment law.

Having knowledge about pension is also important such as auto enrolment, submitting monthly pension on the pension provider portal and doing declarations every 3 years.

Main Responsibilities:
First line response for employee queries and document requests
Effective management of documentation and data from onboarding to off-boarding
Trouble-shoot employee issues, resulting in solutions or referrals to appropriate personnel
HR Data management, maintenance and auditing
Ensure operational processes, procedures and policies are aligned with current employment law and compliance requirements
IR35 Determination assistance for Contractors
Payroll data preparation and auditing for payment accuracy
Partner with HRBP & support with employee relations tasks for seamless HR experience
Support on basic employee relations issues where relevant

Requirements:
Familiar with local laws, regulations and human resources market environment in UK
Enjoyment of data processing tasks
Exceptional time-planning and multi-tasking
High Attention to detail and data accuracy
Patience, Empathy and Passion for helping people
Positive and strong communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office is a must.
