Interim HR Business Partner (12-Month FTC) | South East London | Full time | 4 days on site | £58,000 max

We are seeking an experienced and passionate HR professional to join our clients team for a 12-month interim HR Partner role. The successful candidate will support the company's EMEA population, specifically the employees in London, Cork, Birmingham with additional HR support for teams in Switzerland, Denmark, Italy, and the Netherlands. With approximately 2,300 employees globally you will support 400 people across EMEA.

This is an office-based role, requiring 4 days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and provide expertise on UK employment law, with a focus on acquisitions, redundancies, contract negotiations, and disciplinary/grievance management.
  • Lead on disciplinary and grievance cases and support benefits management, including working with brokers for contract renewals.
  • Primarily operational in focus (80%), with day-to-day management of the HR inbox and handling queries efficiently.
  • Manage acquisitions, restructures, and redundancies, with typical headcounts of around 15 employees per acquisition (2-3 per year).
  • TUPE experience is ideal, particularly in the context of acquisitions.
  • Proactively support HR operations across the region, collaborating with local and remote teams to ensure consistent HR practices.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong experience in UK employment law, including acquisitions, redundancies, disciplinary and grievance management, and contract negotiations.
  • Hands-on operational HR experience, with the ability to manage a variety of HR cases and projects effectively.
  • Previous exposure to tech/data centre environments is preferred, although candidates with strong HR backgrounds from sales-focused sectors are preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a calm, level-headed demeanour under pressure.
  • Knowledge of German language would be a significant advantage.
