Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with a professional membership organisation to recruit a People Restructuring Partner. This is a pivotal role in driving a comprehensive organisational restructuring process, ensuring compliance, and providing expert guidance during a critical period of change.

This fixed-term position focuses on managing a full organisational restructure for a workforce of approximately 160 employees. It requires a hands-on approach, working closely with senior leadership and external advisors to ensure seamless execution.

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus benefits

Contract: Fixed Term Contract, December 2024 - March 2025

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week (9am - 5pm or as per business needs)

Location: UK-based, with office visits required as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement a full organisational restructure in collaboration with leadership, legal advisors, and external organisational development consultants.
  • Oversee all consultation meetings, including staff-wide and individual consultations.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees at all levels regarding the restructuring process.
  • Ensure all processes comply with employment law and internal policies.
  • Draft and review new job descriptions.
  • Manage redundancy packages and address all employee relations matters arising from the restructure.

Person Specification

  • CIPD qualified with a strong understanding of employment law.
  • Extensive experience in leading organisational restructures.
  • Proven ability to manage consultation meetings effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively with external advisors and legal teams.
