Senior People Advisor

We are seeking 2 Senior People Advisors to join our People Advisory Team. This role involves providing business-focused and best practice HR support to a designated area of the business. As a Senior People Advisor, you will act as the key contact point for all HR matters, taking ownership of all employee relations cases of varying complexity. This position offers a unique opportunity to be perceived as a credible and commercial business advisor, working collaboratively across the People function to deliver a seamless and first-class HR service.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients in the business, HR Business Partner teams, and Centres of Excellence.
  • Resolve both straightforward and complex people issues to deliver commercially pragmatic outcomes, linking in with the Employment Law Advisory Team as needed.
  • Advise on HR policies and processes such as intelligent working requests and relocations.
  • Design and draft non-standard correspondence and manage complex absence issues.
  • Act as the expert point of contact for Performance Management issues, supporting the implementation of development plans and coaching on performance management processes.
  • Manage coordination of the promotion selection process and work closely with the Recruitment team to identify resourcing solutions.
  • Provide management information analysis to inform salary and bonus decisions and identify trends for action.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • CIPD qualification or part-qualified, or a desire to study for the CIPD qualification.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a fast-moving, responsive HR team.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP or equivalent HR systems.
  • Demonstrated ability in coaching, with strong influencing skills and the ability to challenge senior colleagues.
  • Creative thinking and an innovative approach to projects and tasks.
