What You'll Be Doing:

Reporting to the HR Director who will give you freedom and autonomy, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering the people strategy while partnering with managers and employees to create a culture where everyone thrives. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Owning HR Operations: Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, engagement, and offboarding.
  • Driving Recruitment Excellence: Lead end-to-end recruitment, collaborating with managers and agencies, and showcase our employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Building Strong Relationships: Provide trusted advice to managers on employee relations, absence management, and performance, empowering them to lead effectively.
  • Championing DE&I and Wellbeing: Shape and deliver innovative strategies that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing.
  • Upskilling the Team: Deliver engaging learning and development initiatives, including workshops and promoting our e-learning platform.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve: Regularly review policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the latest employment laws and best practices.
  • Engaging Employees: Create vibrant internal communication campaigns, manage wellbeing events, and deliver surveys that truly make a difference.
  • Making an Impact: Get stuck into exciting HR projects and bring your creative ideas to life!
What You Bring to the Table:

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, passionate, and people-oriented. You’ll excel in this role if you have:

  • Solid operational HR experience ideally gained within a small to medium sized company
  • A good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • CIPD part-qualified/qualified status (or equivalent HR degree).
  • A proven track record of delivering L&D and DE&I initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A detail-focused and results-driven mindset with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
