About the Role

My client, a leading Portsmouth based IT Services organisation, are seeking a candidate to act as Team Lead for their recently forming Level 1 IT support team.

The candidate will require solid foundations of IT knowledge, and be comfortable taking lead and responsibility for high quality Level 1 customer support.

Responsibilities:

  • Service management and reporting – managing the ticket quality process.
  • Leading a Level 1 ticket based IT support team
  • Ensuring consistently high quality standards of customer support
  • Carrying out incident support using troubleshooting skills.
  • Taking part in delivery of ticket quality reviews
  • Team Management duties such as rota management, performance reviews, 1:1s, recruitment etc.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience (1+ year) in ticket based NOC or 1st Line Support environments
  • Great customer facing abilities
  • Previous experience working in ticket based environments
  • Demonstrable experience leading teams
  • Being able to prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Work under pressure and to agreed targets in a fast past environment.
