ERP HR Delivery Manager

Public Sector | £700 per day (Outside IR35) | Hybrid - London (3 Days On-Site) | 6-Month Initial Contract

Salt Recruitment's Public Sector team is seeking an experienced ERP HR Delivery Manager to support a large-scale SAP SuccessFactors implementation within a complex organisation. This is a delivery management role, not a project management, change management, communications, or SAP/ERP HR solution architect role-though expertise in these areas will be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

The ERP HR Delivery Manager will be responsible for ensuring the organisation meets its obligations within the programme plan, working alongside the System Implementation Partner (HCL) and internal stakeholders. The role requires:

  • Managing and tracking delivery milestones, ensuring the organisation's responsibilities within the implementation are met.
  • Coordinating key programme activities, including:
    • Fit-to-Standard Workshops
    • Configuration Workbooks
    • Playback Iterations
    • Data Uploads
    • Testing (SIT, KUT, UAT)
    • Readiness and Deployment
    • Post Go-Live Support
  • Working closely with the Programme Management Office (PMO), system implementation partner, project, and programme teams to ensure smooth execution of deliverables.
  • Identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring delivery progresses in line with the programme plan.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Significant experience in delivery management within an SAP SuccessFactors full lifecycle implementation.
  • Strong understanding and experience of SAP SuccessFactors modules, including:
    • Employee Central & Payroll
    • Recruitment
    • Performance & Goals
    • Learning Management System
    • Health & Safety, Occupational Health
    • Succession & Development
    • Employee Central Service Centre
  • Deep knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology and ERP project execution.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing project and programme plans, ensuring successful implementation through effective stakeholder management.
  • Strong background in client-side ERP implementations, working closely with PMOs, system integrators, and internal teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and work at pace.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum) is essential.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be immediately available.
  • Must be able to work on-site at least three days per week in London.
