E-Commerce Business Analyst – 6 months initial contract – Inside IR35 - Fully Remote

Are you a proactive and adaptable E-Commerce Business Analyst with strong communication skills and a passion for global e-commerce projects? VIQU is recruiting for a fully remote contract role to support a global brand as they migrate their regional e-commerce platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects, collaborating with diverse teams across the world.

Role Summary:

As the E-Commerce Business Analyst, you’ll work alongside the Lead Business Analyst to assess the current state of various regional brand websites, gathering and documenting existing features. This information will be reviewed to identify gaps and will be presented to stakeholders. This role focuses on the As-Is state, requiring extensive communication with brand teams and engineers who may have limited initial knowledge.

Role Function:

  • Collaborate with the Lead BA on the platform migration project, supporting the next wave of brand transitions.
  • Conduct interviews with brand teams and engineers to gather detailed information on the current state of regional websites.
  • Document and organise existing features for each brand and region, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the current digital landscape.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting findings to stakeholders, highlighting any gaps or missing features.
  • Adapt to uncertainty, making informed decisions with limited information.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within e-commerce or digital transformation projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in gathering information from diverse teams.
  • Ability to work in uncertain environments, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in documenting and presenting complex information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with both business and technical teams.
