A Council in London are seeking a Business Analyst to work with their power platform development team. The Council are looking to utilise power platforms to run more of their internal processes and you will work with the team to define these and help integrate power platform across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • To work as a professional lead across multiple disciplines as a technical expert, leading non-technical teams to interrogate existing ways of working and design new ways of working using MS Power Platforms, with coding requirements.
  • To develop technical business cases for multiple service areas, taking the lead from the mandate provided by the Transformation Board that delivers the service outcomes and financial savings required.
  • Leading and directing teams tasked with transformation and service improvements through matrix working.
  • Determining and leading the project path and methods for implementation.
  • Stakeholder management: managing multiple stakeholders who may be expert in their areas but not understand technological capabilities and help them to design new services.
  • Problem solving from multiple dimensions with coding skills required, knowledge of MS Power Platforms, high degree of data analytical skills and leading non-technical teams at pace.
  • Delivery: focusing on the desired end state and being able to cut through quickly where there may be resistance.

Experience

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering business analysis support on complex projects within a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of fostering a collaborative, open, and transparent working environment with the ability to communicate complex ideas in clear, accessible language to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and refine service designs and process maps that simplify user journeys, making services accessible and efficient using LEAN or other industry standard methods.
  • Support the agile delivery of transformation initiatives by working in iterative cycles, incorporating regular feedback loops, and adapting solutions based on user testing and performance data.
  • Knowledge and experience of Government Digital Services principles and standards
  • Programme and project management skills
  • MS Power Platform and PowerApps development and deployment
  • Code languages for deployment within Power Platforms (Power FX, DAX etc)
