Our client is seeking a Business Information Analyst to join their Global Corporate Finance Operations team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring, retrieving, and organising publicly available information on various financial entities. This role requires an individual who can deliver high-quality results in a timely, cost-effective manner.

What you'll do:

As a Business Information Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to work with market data sources to acquire, retrieve, and organise publicly available information on companies, markets, industries, economies, investment vehicles or individuals. You will be expected to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner while demonstrating superior knowledge in selecting the most appropriate sources. Your role will also involve engaging directly with bankers and partnering with colleagues to provide high-quality client service. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on projects both locally and globally.

* Answer inquiries from bankers in a timely, accurate and value add manner* Engage directly with bankers and partner with colleagues to provide high quality and professional client service* Embrace and build team relationships both locally and globally, collaborating on projects as required* Assist in evaluating and identifying opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the service provision and the banker experience* Possess a passion to grow knowledge, insight and skillset by utilizing learning & development opportunities and tools

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Business Information Analyst role will bring a general understanding of the financial sector along with excellent communication skills. Experience with database search tools such as Factset, LSEG Workspace, S&P/CapIQ, Factiva, Bloomberg or similar would be advantageous. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritising tasks effectively is crucial for this role. A creative thinker who can handle sensitive information discreetly will excel in this position.

* Proficient in English language with excellent oral and written communication skills* General understanding of the financial sector, investment banking industry and terminology would be an asset* Database search experience, particularly with Factset, LSEG Workspace, S&P/CapIQ, Factiva, Bloomberg, or similar would be an advantage* Ability to work in a fast-moving environment, prioritize urgency and thrive under pressure* Demonstrate ability to think creatively and critically
