Venn Group are working with a local authority client in London to recruit an InterimFinance Systems Specialist on an initial 6 month contract, to scope out a new corporate finance system.
The client ideally is seeking a Business Analysis / Project Management skillset, and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
This role will require working closely with leadership in both Finance and IT to assess the current finance system usage, the business and technical requirements for a future system, and create a business case with options for how the council proceed with procurement and implementation.
Initially it’s for a 6-month contract; if the business case is approved the role will be required for a further 2 years to procure and implement.
Working pattern: 1 days onsite per week

Skills and experience required:
- Experience of finance systems such as Oracle, Unit4, Dynamics F&O, SAP etc.
- Project management and coordination
- Stakeholder engagement – to director level
- Requirements gathering – technical and business requirements
