IT Business Analyst

We're excited to share a wonderful opportunity for a Requirements / Business Analyst on behalf of our client, a respected UK travel insurance provider. This role is not just a job; it's a chance to be part of a company passionate about supporting older travellers and individuals with pre-existing medical conditions, especially during their journeys. In this position, you'll join a small and friendly IT and Digital Delivery team, responsibilities will include:
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in a similar role
- Background knowledge within the UK insurance sector (travel, general, life/medical)
- A technical foundation, allowing you to bridge gaps effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office 365, Visio or similar tools, Teams, SharePoint, wireframing, and graphic design tools
- A proven record of producing high-quality functional and non-functional requirements for software development and IT projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to express ideas and insights clearly
- An understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, valuing diverse perspectives
- Skills in creating business system documentation with clarity
- Strong business acumen, coupled with a genuine desire to understand the needs of others
