Robert Half have partnered with a leading real estate firm who are embarking on an exciting Microsoft Dynamics CE implementation project and are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis to help deliver a comprehensive, end-to-end Dynamics CE solution.

This is a day rate contract Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

  1. End-to-End Dynamics CE Implementation:
    • Lead the business analysis and requirements gathering process for the full implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CE, specifically focusing on the Sales, Customer Service, and Customer Insights modules.
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to capture and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for developers.
  2. Module Expertise:
    • Provide expert knowledge and support in the deployment of Dynamics CE Sales, Customer Service, and Customer Insights modules.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to configure and tailor Dynamics CE solutions to meet business needs, ensuring the efficient use of system features.
  3. Collaboration with Development Teams:
    • Serve as a liaison between business users and internal development teams, ensuring that technical solutions align with business requirements.
    • Work closely with internal Dynamics CE developers to ensure accurate, high-quality solution development, including configurations, customisations, and integration's.
    • Lead workshops and design sessions with business units and development teams to finalise technical requirements and solution designs.
  4. Project Documentation and Reporting:
    • Produce and maintain detailed documentation including requirements, process flows, functional specifications, and test cases.
    • Track project progress, ensuring time lines are met, and report to key stakeholders on project status and any potential risks or issues.
  5. User Training and Support:
    • Provide guidance and support for user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs.
    • Develop training materials and deliver end-user training to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
    • Support post-go-live activities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system stability.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Microsoft Dynamics CE Expertise:
    • Proven experience in delivering end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics CE implementations, including Sales, Customer Service, and Customer Insights modules.
    • Strong understanding of the Dynamics CE architecture, features, configurations, and integrations with other systems.
  2. Business Analysis:
    • Significant experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on gathering and documenting business and technical requirements for large-scale projects.
    • Ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into Dynamics CE solutions.
  3. Stakeholder and Team Collaboration:
    • Strong experience working with internal development teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead discussions, workshops, and design sessions.
  4. Project Management and Delivery:
    • Proven track record of delivering Dynamics CE solutions on time and within scope.
    • Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
  5. Additional Skills:
    • Knowledge of data migration strategies and experience working with Customer Insights data models.
    • Dynamics CE certifications or relevant business analysis qualifications are advantageous.
