Senior Business Analyst - eFX Trading

Our prestigious Global Investment Bank client is seeking a contract  eFX Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in FX e-trading and/or e-commerce.

Comprehensive experience in electronic trading within the FX business line, including knowledge of FX products (Spot, Forward, Swap, NDF, Options), FX Pricing, and interaction with multi-dealer platforms.

This role is pivotal in enhancing our electronic footprint through competitive pricing, algorithmic hedging, and improved distribution capabilities. Join its eFX IT technology team, responsible for a comprehensive suite of applications and services crucial to the eFX business line

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive experience in electronic trading within the FX business line, including knowledge of FX products (Spot, Forward, Swap, NDF, Options), FX Pricing, and interaction with multi-dealer platforms.
  • Proven track record in IT project participation, including business analysis and project or work package management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate the gathering of business requirements, make presentations, and troubleshoot problems.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to produce clear written information, pay attention to detail, and conduct structured testing.
  • Self-disciplined and capable of working with delegated autonomy or as part of a team.
  • IT literacy and good knowledge of SQL are essential. Experience with FIX and API interfaces, and FpML is desirable.
Day-to-day of the role:
  • Write specifications and stories for systems and processes as required for specific projects or ongoing evolution of the eFX business line.
  • Manage and deliver specific work packages and projects, with a focus on FX pricing, particularly forwards and NDFs.
  • Conduct functional testing of enhancements in collaboration with QA teams.
  • Assist in the selection and implementation of vendor software.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across the business including front, middle, and back office, Risk, etc.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize needs and keep them informed of progress, risks, and issues.
  • Update system and project documentation regularly.
  • Provide day-to-day support for production issues, ensuring continuous service delivery.
