Overview:
Are you passionate about transforming complex business needs into impactful solutions? This is an amazing opportunity to join a leading UK based IT consultancy as a Senior Business Analyst in the team responsible for developing their own IT Products and Services.
This recently formed team of highly skilled professionals is rapidly expanding as the client has brought their internal development in-house (from previously being outsourced) and acts as the hub for the development of an exciting range of internal facing products and services.
In this role you will work closely with developers, product managers and designers to drive strategic initiatives. If you're an analytical thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys bridging the gap between business and technology, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document detailed requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead discovery and analysis efforts across multiple domains and stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into structured epics, stories, and actionable tasks.
- Facilitate workshops and requirement validation sessions to shape product direction.
- Work collaboratively with product, design, and engineering teams to enhance delivery.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and continuous process improvement.
- Ensure solutions meet user expectations while maintaining technical feasibility.
- Assist in stakeholder communication and go-to-market strategy where needed.
What We’re Looking For :
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within software or digital product teams.
- Proven ability to lead discovery phases and influence product strategy.
- Strong expertise in user story creation, backlog management, and agile frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in business process modelling and technical translation.
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- A proactive mindset, comfortable mentoring junior BAs and driving best practices.
