This premier Wealth Manager is looking for a Senior Business Information Analyst to join either our Ipswich or Mayfair office, and help infrom the design and delivery or our data strategy, including supporting data-driven decision making processes across the organisation, optimising internla processes, and assisting with management information reports. Key AccountabilitiesData Collection and PreparationWork with data engineers to collect, gather, and organise data from internal and external, on-prem and cloud-based sources in the data lake, including SQL database, Microsoft Dynamics, Mongo DB, GA4, BigQuery and other 3rd party connectors and data repositoriesUtilise SQL to manipulate and query large datasets efficiently, helping to model schemas and tables in the data lake’s medallion architectureClean, validate, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency, including handling missing data, outliers and duplicatesContinuously add to a multi-layered reporting structure, where transactional, product, contact and account related datasets can be overlaid to provide a synced-up customer view that drives self-service analytic tools and dashboards for technical and non-technical usersEnsure data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR or CCPAData Analysis - Insights and ProfilingUtilise statistical and data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from client or prospect-related data. Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies to inform our family centric strategy and drive commercial outcomesCreate client segments based on characteristics such as demographics, transactions, engagement levels, and other relevant segmentations as the business evolves. Develop tailored personas to better understand different client groupsDevelop detailed life-centric profiles of customer groups, including their preferences, needs, and pain pointsAnalyse client feedback and survey data to assess client satisfaction levels, map them to digital footprints, engagement levels and transactional value growth to identify areas for improvementBuild predictive models to forecast client behaviour and their commercial impact, such as response to marketing campaigns, churn, transfers in/out, adding/removing services, wrapper top-ups or lack thereof, movement along the service pyramidData VisualisationCreate and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI. Assist with the migration and re-configuration of SSRS reports, amalgamating groups of reports into insightful PowerBI dashboardsTranslate complex data into clear, understandable visualisations for stakeholdersSupport the creation and continuous improvement of reporting style guides that align with our brand identity and business best practicesStakeholder CollaborationWork closely with Data Engineers to ensure data integrity and seamless data flow, as well as with data scientists to support advanced analytics and predictive modelling projects, AI, MLCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including advisers, product development, IT and marketing to ensure client/prospect insights become the central influence on our future product strategy.Work with stakeholders across the business to identify and analyse pain points, optimising internal and client facing processes to help us scale the business faster, drive cost reduction and/or increase client satisfactionGet to know our business and stakeholders in depth as part of our data analyst rotation scheme. You will provide technical expertise, training and knowledge sharing to data consumers in a particular business unit, rotating through multiple departments throughout the year. Help users access, interpret and visualise data for reporting, dashboards, and analytics, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Candidate ProfileDegree-educated in a relavant subjectWill have at least 2 years experience in an Analytical role, with exposure to statistical analysis and data modelling techniques, and be comfortable with large datasetsWill be proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages i.e. SQL, PowerBI, PythonWill have advanced Excel skillsExperience with Git operations, GitHub copilot and CI/CD flows a plusWill be diligent with an eye for detailWill be an effective communicator and able to work with stakeholders cross-functionallyKnowledge of cloud computing platforms, in particular Azure Databricks, ETL and ELT processes, as well as experience with big data technologies and frameworks a plus
