Our global financial services client is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join their Data Acquisition team. This is a key role working on complex, high-impact regulatory and transformational projects across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Build and run SQL queries to analyze, reconcile, and interrogate data
- Resolve high-impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of logic, data, and systems
- Develop deep knowledge of key databases, architectures, and integrations
- Provide technical leadership and direction on project implementation
- Consult with business stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
- Perform quality control and risk management for project deliverables
- Develop artifacts such as requirements documentation, test plans, and project plans
Requirements:
- 5+ years of business analysis experience, ideally in financial services
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in data analysis using Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and manage changing requirements
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of working independently
Preferred Skills:
- Experience within an investment banking or financial services environment
- Data visualization and Python coding skills
