Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the government and defence sectors.
- Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key government and defence stakeholders, understanding their needs and aligning the company's services to meet them.
- Proposal Development: Lead the creation of compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the company's value proposition.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on service offerings and project delivery.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development within the IT consultancy sector, specifically targeting government and defence clients.
- In-depth knowledge of IT resource augmentation and IT project services.
- Strong understanding of government and defence procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must hold SC clearance or be eligible to gain SC clearance.
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
