Our client is a global leader in civil and infrastructure projects who is seeking a Commercial Lead for their Euston project.
Job Summary
The Commercial Lead overseas and manages the estimating cost, procurement and contract aspects of the project from initiation to close-out for Euston Station (HS2).
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Advise client and project team on all commercial issues effecting the project
- Overseas development of contractual terms and conditions for suppliers and sub-contractors
- Develop and implement the procurement and contracting strategy for delivery of the project
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in a Commercial Management role
- Past experience of major (500+) projects
- Formal qualifications of RICS or professional experience
- Expert knowledge of all aspects of commercial management
- Familiarity with various forms of contract
- Excellent knowledge of integrated reporting
Desirable:
- Inspiring team leader
- Strong focus on detail but ability to see the strategic picture
- Ability to present confidently to senior management
