Our client is a global leader in civil and infrastructure projects who is seeking a Commercial Lead for their Euston project.

Job Summary

The Commercial Lead overseas and manages the estimating cost, procurement and contract aspects of the project from initiation to close-out for Euston Station (HS2).

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Advise client and project team on all commercial issues effecting the project
  • Overseas development of contractual terms and conditions for suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Develop and implement the procurement and contracting strategy for delivery of the project

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in a Commercial Management role
  • Past experience of major (500+) projects
  • Formal qualifications of RICS or professional experience
  • Expert knowledge of all aspects of commercial management
  • Familiarity with various forms of contract
  • Excellent knowledge of integrated reporting

Desirable:

  • Inspiring team leader
  • Strong focus on detail but ability to see the strategic picture
  • Ability to present confidently to senior management
