DevOps Engineer

We are representing a market-leading management consultancy, based in the UK, who are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their growing team. The role will be primarily remote; however, you may need to occasionally attend key workshops or events in their London head office.
As a DevOps Engineer you will sit in the Product team supporting their core AWS infrastructure and liaising with a larger, global Platform team. Our client utilises in-house built software as the foundation for their consulting arrangements. You will work on the infrastructure that this core software product sits on. You'll work closely with developers and other IT professionals to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of this critical application.
We are looking for:
- Good experience in AWS (RDS, S3, EC2, EBS, EFS, IAM etc.)
- Good knowledge of LAMP stack deployments - we do not need experience in every technology within LAMP but having all four is beneficial
- Good knowledge of Ubuntu Server
- Good knowledge of Ansible and Terraform
It would be a bonus if you had:
- Experience with MariaDB ColumnStore clusters
- Experience with Docker or similar development tools
