SC Cleared Devops Engineer

6 month initial contract

Hybrid working in London 2-3 days in the office

• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate AWS deployments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to enhance deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Set up and configure monitoring solutions to ensure system performance and uptime.
• Ensure that security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the DevOps lifecycle.
• Manage and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Develop and manage APIs to facilitate integration and automation across systems.
• Utilize Ansible for configuration management and application deployment.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for IaC.
• Familiarity with GitLab and CI/CD processes.

Desired Experience:

• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Familiarity with big data technologies and practices.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for performance monitoring and
• Knowledge of Bash for scripting and automation tasks.
