Day Rate: £600 - £800 (Inside IR35)

My client, a large financial institution, is searching for a GCP DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and HashiCorp Nomad to join our dynamic team.
This role will be inside IR35 and will be twice a week in the London office.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage GCP-based infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain orchestration with Nomad.
- Automate deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with GCP services and architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of HashiCorp Nomad for workload orchestration.
- Strong background in infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (eg, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
