A leading cloud consulting company is seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Technical Presales Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of Google Cloud solutions, collaborating closely with sales teams to identify client needs, and delivering impactful technical presentations and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes, BigQuery, etc.).

    • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Expertise in cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, serverless).

    • Experience with DevOps, Agile methodologies, and containerisation.

  • Sales Support:

    • Collaborate with teams to identify and qualify opportunities.

    • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client needs.

    • Develop and deliver technical presentations and whiteboard sessions to showcase GCP solutions.

    • Respond to RFPs/RFQs with tailored technical proposals.

    • Provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle.

  • Solution Design:

    • Design and architect cloud solutions that meet client requirements.

    • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts.

    • Work with engineering teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

  • Market Engagement:

    • Stay updated on Google Cloud and cloud computing trends.

    • Represent the company at industry events.

    • Contribute to thought leadership, including blog posts and white papers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related tech field with a minimum of a 2:1 grade.

  • 5+ years in a technical presales, solutions architecture, or consulting role, with commercial experience in delivering cloud-based solutions.

  • Strong experience with GCP services.

  • Solid understanding of cloud computing architectures.

  • Excellent communication and visual presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
