The Company

Established in 1993, the gallery has since grown into one of the most influential commercial galleries, representing internationally renowned artists such as Georg Baselitz, Tracey Emin, Antony Gormley, Mona Hatoum, Anselm Kiefer, Liu Wei, Park Seo Bo, Doris Salcedo and Jeff Wall.

The Role

We are currently looking for a Head of Technology to lead their tech department, covering both strategy development and operations.

The focus will be to review their current technology landscape, re-evaluating current systems and measures in place, as well as driving automation and their gradual migration over to AWS.

This role offers high autonomy along with the opportunity to influence and shape their global technology infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT leadership within an SME or comparable setting undergoing transformation.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with digital transformation, including cloud platforms, SaaS, and system integration.
  • Proven experience of successfully implementing enterprise wide systems, to meet growing business requirements.
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure, operations management, and cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage pan-organisational projects, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data governance and its role in business operations.
  • Strong people management skills and a proven track record in developing high performing teams able to deliver business value.
