IT Manager | Head of IT | IT Operations

You will be responsible for all IT Infrastructure and IT strategy; this is a hands on IT manager role.

The Head of IT will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of IT infrastructure and will facilitate organisational compliance with all relevant IT and data governance regulation. You will manage 1 individual.

Person specification:

  • Proven experience in IT Operations management.
  • Good knowledge and application of IT infrastructure, security, and compliance standards.
  • Proven experience in system/software support including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and identifying issues.
  • project management skills.
  •  Excellent communication skills.
  •  Strong interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Technical skills:

  • Advanced Operating System Knowledge: In depth understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and knowledge of system architecture, file systems, and registry. Active Directory Expertise: Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory services/ O365 Environments. Experience with domain controllers, group policies, user accounts, and security permissions.
  • Network Skills: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and other networking protocols. Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues and perform advanced network diagnostics.
  • Server Administration: Experience in configuring and maintaining Windows Server environments. Familiarity with server roles and features.
  • Some cloud experience
  • Hardware and application support.
