Technical Operations Manager required by an established worldwide retailer with branches and franchises predominantly throughout the UK, as well as big online E-commerce presence. The role will be based between their Central London and Hertfordshire offices, both close to stations with travel to their Asian office, the budget for the salary is up to 70k + Performance Bonus upto 20%.

This is a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Technical Operations Manager to join a well-established international retailer with a strong UK presence, global reach, and a thriving e-commerce platform.


It is a newly created role will play a pivotal part in the senior leadership team, acting as the vital link between IT and the wider business. You'll be responsible for defining and implementing operational strategy, driving performance, and maintaining high technical standards across all platforms and regions.


Location & Travel:
You'll split your time between the Central London and Hertfordshire offices, with occasional travel to the company's office in Asia (typically two 2-week trips per year).

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the technical operations strategy aligned with business goals.
Lead and mentor the technical operations team, promoting a high-performance, collaborative culture.
Ensure smooth and efficient operation of technical systems, including retail and e-commerce platforms.
Work closely with IT, sales, and marketing stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
Oversee projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.
Drive continuous improvement across online and in-store operations.
Manage vendor relationships related to IT and operations.
Ensure regulatory compliance and best practice standards.

Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a technical operations or IT management role, ideally within retail or e-commerce.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, e-commerce platforms, and retail systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with hands-on project management experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience managing budgets and resources.
Willingness to travel internationally.
