Practice Lead - Datacentre Infrastructure

You will be the technical authority responsible for guiding our consulting team and ensuring delivery excellence. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management, and leadership skills to drive our consulting operations and achieve revenue and margin targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong communicative abilities – you need to be able to foster and maintain relationships with clients – trust and collaboration skills are vital!
  • You need to be able to articulate the value of our client’s services and solutions particularly when it comes to Data Centre Infrastructure. You will possess expert knowledge about Datacentre Infrastructure, you’ll be mentoring the delivery team, so that you can provide the team with the ability to produce high quality project execution.
  • Monitoring the projects financial goals and ensuring delivery with the budget expectations you will have.
  • Lead the project teams! Our client will seek someone who will be able to meet and exceed client satisfaction through quality delivery service.
  • Staying trendy! Keep up to date with the consulting industry practices and new tech that arises – you need to be able to drive innovation.
  • Working with senior leadership to review and refine service offerings and consulting capabilities.
  • You’ll be expected to support during the hiring process and conduct technical interviews.
  • You’ll be able to support teams with personal performance management and professional development plans.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a consulting or delivery role, with a focus on DCI technologies.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of mentoring and guiding teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering persuasive presentations.
  • Deep understanding of market trends, opportunities, and business challenges in the tech industry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various disciplines and manage both virtual and in-person teams.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, storage, networking, and datacentre methodologies.
  • Relevant vendor certifications (e.g., VMware, Dell, Cisco) are a plus.
  • 15+ years of experience in a technical consulting environment, with at least 5 years in a management role.
