SAP S/4HANA Technical Delivery Lead / Workstream Lead

Hybrid working - Central London (1-2 days in the office each week)

12 month Fixed Term Contract

Are you an experienced Technical Delivery Lead/ Technical Workstream Lead with a passion for SAP and large-scale ERP projects? A leading UK brand is embarking on a high-impact SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration, and we’re looking for a skilled leader to oversee the technical design and delivery workstream of this transformation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Overseeing the technical design, build, and configuration of SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and technical architecture standards.
• Leading and mentoring a team of functional consultants, developers, and technical specialists, driving successful project delivery.
• Working closely with Business Process Managers to ensure SAP solutions effectively support business operations.
• Collaborating with Systems Integrators to manage the delivery of technical components on time and to the highest standard.
• Managing technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and interface designs.
• Supporting testing, deployment, and hyper-care phases, resolving technical challenges efficiently.
• Ensuring governance, compliance, and change control processes are rigorously followed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven SAP expertise - experience with SAP S/4HANA preferably, or ECC projects including technical design and architecture.
• Leadership skills - ability to manage cross-functional technical teams and drive project success.
• Strong collaboration and communication, working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience overseeing governance, compliance, and change control processes in an SAP environment.
• Ability to translate business processes into technical designs, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Experience working with SI’s to manage the delivery of technical components.
• Knowledge of cloud hosting solutions and SAP Activate a plus.

This role will be based out of Central London, with some onsite work each week and occasional travel to other office locations in the home counties.

It will be a 12 month fixed term contract, with a salary up to £75k + 5% bonus and excellent benefits.
