Overview

We are working on behalf of our client who is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Technical Programme Manager to lead the execution of complex, cross-functional projects and programmes. In this role, you will manage multiple technical initiatives and work closely with various stakeholders, including engineering, product management, and leadership teams. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with a passion for technology, strong project management experience, and a proven ability to deliver successful technical outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end management of multiple technical programmes, ensuring alignment with company goals, on-time delivery, and high-quality execution.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for all technical and non-technical stakeholders, including engineering, product, business teams, and senior leadership.
  • Project Delivery: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources. Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in programme management processes to ensure efficient execution and to minimize obstacles and delays.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and coordinate teams across multiple disciplines to ensure the timely delivery of technical solutions. This includes managing cross-team dependencies, removing roadblocks, and ensuring clear communication across teams.
  • Technical Understanding: Provide technical guidance and clarity on project requirements, ensuring that development teams understand the scope and technical feasibility of solutions.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Track and report on programme progress, ensuring visibility into key milestones and objectives. Prepare regular status updates, presentations, and performance reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Experience Required

  • 5+ years of experience in programme or project management, with at least 3 years of experience managing technical projects and programmes.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex technical projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience with project management
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to balance technical details with big-picture thinking.
  • Experience with risk management and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
