Our client, a leading name in the professional services sector, is seeking a skilled 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their dynamic IT team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd line support to end users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with escalations from the 1st Line Support team, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Support and maintain Microsoft Office 365 environments, including user management, application support, and security configurations.
  • Manage and maintain Azure-based services, including identity, storage, and cloud infrastructure support.
  • Participate in IT projects, such as Office 365 migrations, Azure deployments, and system upgrades.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to implement solutions and enhancements.
  • Document solutions, processes, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide occasional onsite support at client locations in London.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support Engineer role, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 and Azure, including hands-on experience with migrations and deployments.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, including Azure AD and group policy management.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles (DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Experience with ITIL frameworks or similar service management methodologies is a plus.
