Business Systems Support Analyst within London market insurance

Reporting to Business Systems Support Manager

You will ensure that the hardware and software investment is utilised to its full potential.

Provide software support to the Business and Technology Teams for inhouse built/configured systems.

Support the Technology teams with the solutions they are building and rolling out. Report back to these teams with any issues. There is an emphasis on Powerplatform for this role.

Your responsibilities

Business Systems

路 Support and work closely with the Service Desk and the business supporting any (but not limited to) Office365, MS PowerPlatform and Policy Admin System queries.

路 Log all queries on the Service Desk system (currently ServiceNow).

路 Log all Development/Bug work for inhouse built systems on DevOps and adhere to sprint structure.

路 Work closely with the Service Desk team with regards to issue resolution

路 Ensure the logged issues are prioritised accordingly, informing Technology Leadership to potential outages/critical issues.

路 Co-ordinate and supply training and software updates with the Service Desk and Technology Leadership.

路 Work closely with the Business Systems Development and Analyst teams to support their builds.

路 Adhere to robust change control procedures that are in place.

路 Review and distribute where appropriate software release notes to raise awareness and inform users of available fixes or updated functionality.

路 Maintain professional communications to all involved when dealing with any issue.

路 Keep up to date with the latest developments for Microsoft 365 and our Policy Admin System (Currently GlobalXB).

You will need:

Candidates must have experience working within the Lloyds insurance market supporting legacy and bespoke systems.
