Desktop Rollout Engineer - M&A Experience

6 Months Contract

Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office

Our insurance client is looking for a Desktop Rollout Engineer to join them on a 6-month contract basis. This role forms part of the IT Strategy & Transformation team responsible for delivering M&A and IT integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing escalation support to the IT Project Manager during project activity
  • Ensuring all changes to production services are subject to change control
  • Producing documentation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of post-project support as part of project delivery
  • Conducting root cause analysis following unplanned disruptions to enhance system availability during project and warranty periods
  • Develop strong relationships with the Business Units
  • Respond to the Business Units' requirements as appropriate
  • Support the business units with their use of the IT systems

Requirements:

  • Infrastructure knowledge - at least one year's experience as a Project Engineer, Service Desk or similar IT role
  • Experience working with standard Microsoft cloud technologies such as Azure, M365, Azure AD & Intune
  • General understanding of Windows Operating Systems, especially Windows 10
  • Detailed knowledge of configuring and administering Windows operating systems
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities to ensure that solutions are delivered within an SLA
  • Ability to communicate in a technical and non-technical manner depending on the audience
  • Must be willing to Travel domestically and internationally, at times for extended periods (up to 1 month at a time)
