Senior Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Onsite
Salary: up to £60k + package
I am representing a global investment management company who are looking for a Senior Desktop Support Engineer, to provide high quality fast paced technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure seamless IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve end-user issues (hardware, software, network) via in-person, phone, or remote tools.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10, MS Office, and other essential apps
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues on VDI, desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other day to day tech.
- Manage software updates using SCCM; support MS Teams and email platforms.
- Collaborate with IT teams on escalations, vulnerabilities, and projects.
- Document processes and mentor junior staff.
- Support AV equipment for meetings and provide overnight support (on rotation).
Requirements:
- Expereinced in desktop support with expertise in Windows 10, Active Directory, Citrix, VDI, and Exchange.
- Strong troubleshooting skills; knowledge of SCCM and endpoint security.
- Effective communicator, team player, and willing to work flexible hours.
- Certifications like CompTIA A+ preferred.
Note: Hybrid work is currently unavailable - (Provide weekly out of hours over night (6pm - 7am) support every 3 weeks, on a shift pattern (Earlys/ Mids and Lates)
