Are you an IT professional with a passion for problem-solving and supporting end-users in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our London office and provide top-tier technical support.

About the Role:As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be the primary IT support contact for our London office. You'll handle a wide array of responsibilities, from troubleshooting hardware and software issues to ensuring seamless video conferencing for critical meetings. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, including potential travel to our New York office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support in the London office.
  • Troubleshoot hardware (computers, printers, phones, AV equipment) and network patching issues.
  • Conduct daily testing and configuration of video conferencing and AV systems (Zoom Rooms/Microsoft Teams).
  • Monitor service desk tickets, providing instant assistance or escalating issues to our IT MSP.
  • Train and support users on video conferencing and collaboration tools.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, ensuring their IT setup runs smoothly.
  • Maintain an internal IT knowledge base and asset register.
  • Contribute to IT upgrade projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with external MSPs and our US-based Senior IT Analyst.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in IT support within Financial Services or Legal environments.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and AV/VC systems (Zoom Rooms/Microsoft Teams).
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and organisational abilities.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with Egnyt software.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid passport/ETSA for potential US travel.

Salary - £45,000 - £55,000 including bonus and benefits
