Hybrid position: Approx. 2 days on site (therefore please only apply if you can commit to this)Our client is currently recruiting for a range of roles across their department, in support of their ambitious transformation programme(s) and operational service delivery.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Design and Support Analyst. The role will be responsible for supporting, planning, designing and provisioning solutions to enhance the capability of the server and storage environment.The successful candidate will have experience and proven success at contributing to the continuous design, development and support of server based infrastructures running on a on premises Hypervisor based infrastructure and/or cloud based infrastructure for a large multi-site organisation, preferably in a 24/7/365 industry, working on Microsoft Server and VMware based platforms.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • To work as a member of a team determining priorities and ensuring that an efficient service is provided at all times.
  • To establish and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the clients Server and storage environments, ensuring that the effective operations of all systems are maintained.  Current standards and duties include:
    • Hypervisor Platforms - Microsoft & VMware
    • Current Microsoft Server Operating Systems
    • Microsoft System Center Suite of products
    • Microsoft Active Directory Services
    • Microsoft Exchange
    • Powershell/Scripting/Automation
    • Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation
    • Cloud Technology (Azure/Entra ID/M365)
