We are currently seeking to appoint an IT Manager on a Full-time, permanent basis.

Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee our organisation's information technology strategy and ensure the effective management of IT resources. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our IT infrastructure, implementing new technologies, and leading a team of IT professionals. This role requires a strong understanding of both hardware and software systems, as well as excellent project management skills.

Duties

  • Manage and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and remote access software.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and applications, including VMWare and IIS.
  • Implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of system failures.
  • Monitor network performance using tools such as Solarwinds to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Provide support for end-users and manage helpdesk operations to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to safeguard organisational data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Skills

  • Proficiency in VMWare, Word, Solarwinds, IIS, project management methodologies, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Strong ability to manage both LAN and WAN environments effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with remote access software solutions is advantageous.
