We are seeking an IT Project Coordinator for a 3-month contract based in our Global Investment Bank clients London City office. This role is ideal for someone with some experience in IT project coordination who is looking to expand their skills through a short-term IT rollout project. The IT Coordinator will play a crucial role in facilitating the upgrade of laptop computers to M365, acting as the liaison between IT users and IT support personnel.

  • Contract: 3-month term
  • Location: London City
  • Working Hours: Full-time, 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
Day-to-day of the role:
  • Communicate with department business managers to explain the upgrade process.
  • Coordinate with department staff to book time slots for handing over their laptops for the upgrade.
  • Manage the pre-arranged schedule and pass laptops to IT support personnel for evening upgrades.
  • Ensure the project meets target numbers by managing schedules and tracking progress.
  • Hand back upgraded laptops to IT users in the morning, ensuring all upgrades are registered and schedules are managed.
  • Operate independently after receiving an overview of the process, developing your own methods within the framework provided.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Some experience in coordinating IT projects, with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in IT roles.
  • Analytical thinker with proficient Excel skills for managing schedules, trackers, and reporting statistics.
  • Good skills in Microsoft Word for writing user communications and guides.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and meet set targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conversing at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows computer client software.
  • High attention to detail and good English language skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
