I am excited to be working with an amazing membership organisation in search of a skilled Legal and Compliance Support Manager. This is an immediate start, part-time (4-day week), London based hybrid, temp role for 6 – 8 weeks. As the Legal and Compliance Support Manager your role will be to support the Business Services team in delivering key legal and compliance functions, including contract review, GDPR compliance, and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities:
Review, negotiate, and edit contracts, maintaining the contract database.
Ensure GDPR and Data Protection Act compliance, including handling subject access requests and retention audits.
Manage bursaries, grant agreements, and DBS checks for the organization and partners.
Oversee policy updates, ensuring alignment with legal requirements.
Provide guidance on safeguarding, GDPR, and compliance queries.

Skills and Experience:
Essential:
Expertise in contract review, negotiation, and boilerplate editing.
In-depth knowledge of GDPR and safeguarding regulations.
Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion values.

Desirable:
Qualification in contract law or experience in a charity environment.
